If we could no longer use animals for work or transport, how might society adapt?

 @9JQ4WLF from Utah answered…4mos4MO

we would probably build a robot to do the job instead.

 @9JQ6SDSDemocrat from California disagreed…4mos4MO

Usually people who have to use animals for work or transport don't have the income to afford robots, and these robots may need materials (not biodegradable) that might contribute to climate change

 @9JQ56SXIndependent from Nebraska answered…4mos4MO

I think society would get used to it, everyone just thinks we have to test anything and everything on animals when we should really be testing anything and everything on DNA

 @9JQ4W49 from Connecticut answered…4mos4MO

In an ideal world, innovators would hopefully come up with an idea or plan to replace those animals used for transport with vehicles and means of transport that are more eco-friendly and more efficient.

How might our attitudes towards the environment change if animals were seen as stewards rather than resources?

 @9KJ3TB9 from California answered…3mos3MO

Nothing would change, world leaders and celebrities will continue to rot the environment with their carbon emissions. Taylor Swift for example, takes 15 min flights and makes extreme carbon emissions. Stop making laws on common men for the consequences caused by elites and celebrities.

 @9KJ6M3N from Mississippi disagreed…3mos3MO

I don't really want to make an argument but ok.

If animals were something to protect in the eyes of more people, environmental negligence would be more hated and consequently protected against. Such people as world leaders and celebrities, were they to cause such a hated thing, would eventually stop or receive less money due to less support. Also, them being such an issue would not mean that the "common man" should not also receive regulation, especially industry giants.

 @9KJ3G9M from Maryland answered…3mos3MO

It might go the wrong way because some people might eat animals and get mad but some people might not get mad because they don't wanna eat animals

 @9KJ3KT4Republican from Ohio answered…3mos3MO

 @9KJ3KGQ from California answered…3mos3MO

I think if people really cared they would be trying more but most are lazy and the extinction of most animals is yet to come.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2mos2MO

How would you describe the bond between humans and service animals, and how does this relationship affect your view on animal rights?

 @9LDY57S from Louisiana answered…2mos2MO

it really depends on the animal and if they are dangerous or not to the humans.

 @9LDWH7Tanswered…2mos2MO

I feel that service animals are good as they are typically treated right and they help others.

 @9LDWPW7answered…2mos2MO

Service animals aid humans alongside providing a significant amount of help to the human.

 @9LDWMTSRepublicananswered…2mos2MO

Humans and service animals are a mutually beneficial relationship. The animal enjoys fulfilling the humans needs and the human needs the animal for comfort and safety.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…7mos7MO

What moral justification can we have for eating animals when alternative food sources are available?

 @9H8WY4P from Nevada answered…6mos6MO

Eat what you want, as long as the information is out there for what it may do to the human body, and what the alternatives are

 @9H8WBSQWomen’s Equality from Illinois answered…6mos6MO

are body needs a good supply of protein to function correctly I'm all for making animal cruelty go away but as long as the animals are raised with a good life I see no problem

 @9H8XFPN from Florida answered…6mos6MO

We have been consuming animals, it’s part of our diet. I believe individuals should have the right to choose.

 @9H8VXL3Republican from Texas answered…6mos6MO

I believe eating animals is human nature, and is how the world has been, and should run

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO

How would your perspective on animal rights change if you found out your favorite food involved unethical treatment of animals?

 @9KSZL65 from Wisconsin answered…3mos3MO

I would find alternative foods that are similar to it but don't hurt animals.

 @9KS27SV from Kentucky answered…3mos3MO

 @9KRZVH6 from North Carolina answered…3mos3MO

I would stop eating it. I cannot stand people using abusive methods on animals for food. There are more friendlier ways and more ethical ways to raise and treat animals.

 @9KS2WBD from Wisconsin answered…3mos3MO

they should have rights, they need someone to stick up for them because they have feelings and hurt too.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO

How would our buying habits change if more people were aware of the animal testing behind products?

 @9KJ38Q9Democrat from California answered…3mos3MO

People would feel guiltier about the treatment of animals.

 @9KJ5H38 from Colorado agreed…3mos3MO

I feel people will feel guilty about animal testing but there’s also sick people who would not care either way which makes me sick to my stomach.

 @9KJ3NPKPeace and Freedom from New Jersey answered…3mos3MO

If people really cared they should already be accented with the topic and already change their habits

What kind of future do you envision for animals if society as a whole shifts towards more ethical treatment of them?

 @9L943LT from California answered…2mos2MO

 @9L93MBMfrom Michigan answered…2mos2MO

Animals should only be bred by professionals that are responsible and registered so if the animal is mistreated there is documentation

 @9L93HNBIndependentanswered…2mos2MO

I envision a future of animals who aren't heavily bred to the point where their life is miserable.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO

If you could create one law to improve animal welfare, what would it be and why?

  @SashaVanLammerenDemocrat from Virgin Islands answered…3mos3MO

I would create a broad web of protection for animals, especially the ones in danger of extinction and also domestic animals (in danger of being left by their owners or in danger of suffering cruel treatment).

Fund more no kill policy shelters, we need to get control of the system. Which should include spading, nuterizing, and having no kill shelters.

How might the extinction of a single animal species affect you personally and emotionally?

 @9KJ442XRepublican from Virginia answered…3mos3MO

Animals from different places all over the world makeup ecosystems if animals and even plants become extinct the ecosystem that was once healthy can become unhealthy and potentially die. Emotionally I dont feel affected by this as an individual.

 @9KLJRVQ from North Carolina disagreed…3mos3MO

a lot of the ecosystem affects humans and if somthing is changed then there isnt a lot of good for humans

 @9KJ2WKL from Pennsylvania answered…3mos3MO

it depends on the animal some animals will affect me greatly other not so much

 @9KJ2RCH from California answered…3mos3MO

It depends on the animal and how they went extinct. If humans killed them all off then it would be sad.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

How do you feel when you see animals in small enclosures at parks and zoos?

 @9JCJD3T from Oregon answered…4mos4MO

I think they should have larger enclosures but I'm alright with them as long as the animals are being treated fairly.
