Personally i don't care about this topic, but at least let the churches decide whether or not to hold same sex marriage, because forcing them to allow it is a violation of the first amendment and their beliefs.

While I respect the beliefs of religious organizations, I believe that same-sex couples should have the same legal rights and protections as opposite-sex couples. Allowing churches to decide whether or not to hold same-sex marriages would not address the issue of legal recognition and protection of same-sex couples. In addition, there are many religious organizations that do support same-sex marriage, so it would be unfair to deny them the ability to perform these ceremonies. Instead, we should focus on ensuring that all individuals, regardless of sexual orientation, have the right to marry and receive the same legal benefits. What are your thoughts on this approach?
