The argument that wealthy tax cheats are causing budget crises is a fallacy. The issue is not that the wealthiest aren't paying enough in taxes, but rather that the government is spending too much. Increasing taxes on the rich will not solve the problem, as they already pay a disproportionate amount of taxes. In fact, we should be lowering taxes for all Americans, not just the wealthy.
