If you are in a medical emergency, and you say you are a woman when you are a man, the doctors could end up doing something completely wrong.

Literally no doctor is going to genuinely ask "are you a man or a woman" and then start blindly operating. Bodies are different even within people of the same sex, and it's literally the doctor's job to assess you as an individual.
