I always accept people for who they are. Love who you want to love, but DO NOT force your thoughts on me.

You should accept all your loved ones if they haven't seriously wronged you. Being homosexual is not a disease, nor is it a bad thing. There's no need to hide your kids from regular homosexuals when they see heterosexuals on TV and on the internet every day.

As long as they don't make it their entire identity and act as a "person" it wouldn't matter in my book

I honestly could not care less. God made us specifically as individuals, as long as you're not attempting a gender change it's acceptable.

I would love them still, as we are called to love all people. But I would still hold firm in my belief that that is wrong and sinful. If that puts a rift in our relationship, so be it. I will not let emotions overcome my morals.

I have an Uncle who is gay and he does share the opinion that many gay people now days are very extreme about voicing their sexuality like its their whole personality.

Though I love the person and wouldn't support what they do. I wouldn't completely dissociate myself/my kids from them, but I wouldn't affirm their actions.
