How do you define 'family' and has that definition evolved over time for you?
It depends. There's a biological family, which is based on genetics, and there's a social family, who you form your closest bonds with, even stronger than with friends, who raised you most likely, it doesn't have to be anyone biologically related to you.

Being family by blood doesn't really mean you're family. You have to make connections and relationships with your family in order to be a real family.
