The Wall Street Journal published 2 ant-Tesla stories today:
"The Inside Tale of Tesla’s Fall to Earth"
As Musk has used his social-media platform to address polarizing topics such as immigration and race, there is evidence that Musk is doing Tesla no favors with his extracurricular activities.
The company’s reputation among potential U.S. buyers has taken a hit since Musk acquired Twitter, according to market-intelligence firm Caliber. The automaker’s “consideration” rate—where survey respondents said whether they are very likely to buy, or continue buying, products from Tesla—fell from 46% to 35% between September 2022 and this March, Caliber said.
"2024 Tesla Model 3: Good Enough to Be Elon-Proof?"
“How about a Model 3?” I suggested. Kathy rolled her eyes. “I will never buy a car from that man
,” she said, referring to Tesla CEO Elon Musk. “You’ve never even met the man,” I said, knowing that wouldn’t help.
The media will never admit what really upsets them about Tesla.
They aren't built by unions.
Unions control the media and the Democratic party and have successfully brainwashed you into hating a car company that leads the "American Made Index."
Ford is moving production of their Mach E to Mexico in order to avoid the unions.

Americans might take a page at considering what vast contributions the immigrant from South Africa has brought the country; from Starlink to vertically landing re-usable rockets, to the kind of vehicle California has been dreaming about forever... Just because he took away a leftist and arguably facsict blocker of free speech like Twitter was -is a strange reason for freedom loving Americans to complain about a CEO who has contributed so much. As compared to other atrocious CEOs like Larry Fink or Bob Iger or Mark Zuckerberg or or or or...

Elon came here legally, by the way.

Anyone who says Lock Fauci up is never going to sell me a car - I'm sorry.
@FierceMinoritySocialist2mos2MO
Anyone who says Lock Fauci Up is going to sell many cars, and be a proponent of free speech.
Seriously, did any individual cause more damage than Fauci during COVID?
Oh I am going his cars, and his stocks, and use his social media, because he speaks TRUTH like that.

Glad to hear this reporters sister is ok. Now about that political purity test for car companies influencing buying decisions. Let’s see now we have the Japanese cars from the country that brought us the Kamikaze attack and Battan death march so they are out. BMW and Mercedes produced lots of Nazi military equipment and don’t get me started on Ferdinand Porsche and his buddy the Fuhrer.
Then we have GM and Chrysler that took billions in taxpayer bailouts and gave their bond holders a huge haircut courtesy of the Obama White House. Does anyone besides me see the absurdity of all… Read more

I knew a WWII veteran who wouldn't buy a BMW because he was a navigator and lost too many friends over Munich. He drove a Mercedes though! Those were different guys bombing Stuttgart.

"Good Enough to be Elon Proof"?
The dude is an icon in cars, rockets, brain interfacing, free speech.
The arrogance of the left media is astounding.
@SomberImpalaDemocrat2mos2MO
It's an accurate description of public perception, and exactly what investors are wondering. I know plenty of people who have become much more reluctant to buy a Tesla in the last couple of years.
@LeftLane2009Patriot2mos2MO
What, exactly, has troubled you about Musk?
@SomberImpalaDemocrat2mos2MO
Personally, I'm more concerned about Musk's erratic behavior than about the content of his tweets. His actions have made me question doing business with any of his companies. He apparently agreed to purchased Twitter on a whim, for more than market value, without significant due diligence, and then quickly changed his mind and tried to back out of the deal with no sufficient legal basis for doing so. Since completing the purchase, X has become a significant distraction from his other businesses. Musk has also shown himself to be very thin-skinned and a bit of a hypocrite about free… Read more

I'm just the opposite--more prone to buying a Tesla now that I understand the man behind it better.

Henry Ford became the most successful figure in the car business while being a vicious anti-Semite. His Model T's successor as history's most-produced car, the Volkswagen Beetle, was designed to Hitler's order by his enthusiastic admirer, Dr. Porsche, whose eponymous company is rather celebrated to this day.So Elon Musk's poking at a few progressive pieties earns this kind of reaction when they do not? I don't think so.

Had my Model 3 since 2018 and it is the best car i have ever owned. The car has had so many free over the air updates and i have never taken it to a service center. Super Fast, quiet, great self driving. Can't wait for the Cyber Truck.
Elon is the MAN. My only regret is that he is not allowed to run for President as he was born in South Africa.
Go ELON! Go Tesla!
