@398P3RF4 años4Y
Only if individual US Citizens explicitly opt into extra taxes that will go directly towards space travel (or whatever they would like to fund)
@3988XGL4 años4Y
Once again stop wasting billions on "defense" spending and we'll have plenty of money for things like this
@3988BJS4 años4Y
Yes, support space exploration in conjunction with private sector and allies
@3985FTWIndependiente4 años4Y
I'd rather fund programs that help this planet than escape the problems we've created
@3984XGX4 años4Y
no, every dollar our nation has should be put towards bettering our economy and improving the lives of our people, not used to fund billion dollar space programs that have no immediate effect on the well being of our people.
@397WBGN4 años4Y
Space exploration is important but funding other countries who don't add to our economy is stupid and needs to stop immediately
@397V26J4 años4Y
Yes, many important discoveries have been made, many in the medical field.
@397TBPG4 años4Y
I think now that we have done a lot of things like man on the moon, I would rather have private industry do the work then Government and it will be 10 times cheaper.
@397NT8RRepublicano4 años4Y
Yes, for military purposes only.
@397GKXX4 años4Y
We can't even handle the planet we have been given much less keep trying to pollute another planet. We have so much need and misery here on Earth that we need to care for--forget all the billions of dollars spent on space travel for the pride of a few scientists and so we as a nation can boast. We are also filling our atmosphere with all sorts of things which will probably one day come down and do goodness knows what.
@397F2BQ4 años4Y
No, the private sector has gotten to the point where assistance and advancement from government agencies is no longer required. Start transitioning NASA into a regulatory body.
@3977K4W4 años4Y
Space exploration and travel are vitally important but we need to set priorities. Right now we should continue to support NASA with a sustainable budget but we should also deal with some issues involving our crumbling infrastructure and other domestic problems.
@396S96V4 años4Y
Yes, there is a lot of scientific discoveries that can only be discovered in space. Cells grow in 3d is space, flames have a sphere shape instead of a cone, which helps scientists create a more pure combustion. These are just a couple ways that space travel has helped science. The cure for cancer may be discovered in space.
@396Q8SM4 años4Y
No, fix the problems on our planet before expanding into space.
@394V97K4 años4Y
Not right now, as the nation is burdened with a massive deficit. Once we reduce it to manageable levels, we can start funding it again.
@394RSPB4 años4Y
Not sure where to stand because we live on earth, and life cannot exist in space unless millions upon millions are spent to enable life in space.
@394RPTJ4 años4Y
I think if NASA were too do any more space travel programs, they would 1. Have to somehow improve current levels of technology, or 2. Benefit human life.
@394RP654 años4Y
I support space exploration but it is not the most pressing thing that they should spend money on in this economic climate.
