How can solidarity between different gender identities contribute to social and economic reform?

 @9KJ9JTS from Washington answered…3mos3MO

I think its dumb and people should be able to change their gender.

 @9KL26SJ from Florida disagreed…2mos2MO

providing a solidarity respond to arguments with different points of gender and personalities of view can contribute in a good way in economic and social reform, create better perspectives

 @9KJCK7N from Washington answered…3mos3MO

I think accepting different gender identities is problematic and is thus causing many issues and division within the United States. Realistically, it is also unnecessary to create more and more categories to separate people into.

 @9KJ9FB9 from Washington answered…3mos3MO

Modern feminism is destryoing the neclaur famliy and will sloly erode away the freedoms we have fought so hard for.

 @9KJ99M3 from Washington answered…3mos3MO

Make it so that there are only 2 genders again. Things are getting out of hand.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

When imagining a society based on socialist feminist ideals, what do you think would be the biggest day-to-day difference from our current society?

 @9JP2RVT from California answered…3mos3MO

i think feminism is impacted when no matter what women do it still isn’t enough i guess

 @9JPB37D from Illinois disagreed…3mos3MO

Feminism is shown when women want to succeed in things, they are usually pushed away by the men or they are chosen second to a man.

 @9JP2LVB from Alabama answered…3mos3MO

Things would be more apparent including the hate toward men as a whole and if something happens and a man is convicted the punishment would be way harsher than a female.

What does 'equal opportunity' mean to you in the context of your own life and aspirations?

 @9JBM84V from Texas answered…4mos4MO

That women will get the same opportunities men have and can have the same amount of power and say in business or leadership roles.

 @9JBCY5H from Ohio answered…4mos4MO

It means everyone has the same opportunities, regardless of their gender, age, ethnicity, religion, etc.

What personal sacrifices do you think are necessary to create a society focused on gender and economic equality?

 @9KLRFJ7 from Pennsylvania answered…2mos2MO

I think to create a society more equal, we need to listen and see everybody's side of things. and stop assuming everyone is sexist and racist before knowing them.

 @9KM358M from Arizona disagreed…2mos2MO

We do not need to ASSUME everyone is sexist or racist, but we can understand how there are natural and systemic biases towards certain groups of people in society and in order to create a more understanding society, wee must recognize these natural assumptions that we have built up over time.

 @9KLQJWV from Alabama answered…2mos2MO

The value we put on gender, outer appearance, social rules, and things of this world.

 @9KLQ9B9 from Massachusetts answered…2mos2MO

This seems like a path to a lazy, dumb american population which gives awards to those who find ways to be the most prejudiced. America should provide a fair shot to everyone, not give underseving people handouts for being lazy.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

Why might some people be afraid of a society that aims for equal resource distribution, and how can these fears be addressed?

 @99S54W8  from Pennsylvania answered…4mos4MO

Equal resource distribution opens a path to despotism and the elimination of both the free market and constitutional order of our society. Every person should be permitted to aggregate as much wealth for themselves as they desire.

 @9JB56BX from Georgia answered…4mos4MO

Some people will be getting less if some others get more, so people should earn what they are worth, or potentially going to be worth in respect to limits.

 @9JB54QW from Arizona answered…4mos4MO

Feminism itself isn’t saying that women should be above men. Feminism is the act that everyone is equal, and women are stood up to the same opportunities as men.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

If a friend asked you why gender equality matters in education and employment, what examples would you provide?

 @9JTD833 from Indiana answered…3mos3MO

Well I am not really wanting to work with someone wanting to change genders, to me they need help wanting to think this way, there are two genders in this world, and whatever you are when you are born then its meant to be for you to be that gender and stay that gender.

 @9JTJHGZ from California disagreed…3mos3MO

As long as they prove that they are a capable worker, it should not matter what you (or anyone else) think about them. Productivity doesn't lie, and in a capitalistic society like the U.S, that should be one of the prime factors that matter.

 @9JSZHRJ from Indiana answered…3mos3MO

Women are capable of doing the same things as men, we may not do it as good, but I certainly do not want to be expected to cook and clean just because I am a woman.

How can young people today work towards a future that eliminates both gender and class oppression?

 @9KKGBFX from California answered…3mos3MO

By being more accepting and unifying often than we currently do because of how split apart we are.

 @9KJC3JGRepublican from Washington answered…3mos3MO

The current acceptance of females in the work force is good. Equal opportunity has already been obtained, if we try to provide Equity it will not be fair between the masses.

 @9KJ9QTYDemocrat from Pennsylvania answered…3mos3MO

I think that "young people" need to continue using their voice, white also hearing opposing opinions, and listing to the new generation when the current "young people" have power in the government. This will help them to create a situation where policies reflect everyone's voice.

I believe equal rights in the workplace is one of the biggest issues in America and needs to be dealt with

 @9HXMJBDRepublican from Tennessee disagreed…4mos4MO

I dont believe that it is one of the biggest issues Americans face it is an issue but much less than the media and other outlets make it to be,

 @9HT622J from Florida commented…5mos5MO

It's about time we actually live be the words of our Declaration of Independence, "...all men are created equal...Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness." This should be true for all Americans regardless of race, creed, color, or gender.

How does the portrayal of women in media influence your views on gender and economic equality?

 @9HM8X4BGreen from Ohio answered…5mos5MO

Woman should be treated equally always and because of social media both more people have ideals that are against woman and then people who understand that incels are not okay.

 @9HM8YFG from North Carolina answered…5mos5MO

The view that is portrayed of women in the media and society is terrible. The gender equality is not equal at all. Men think they have way more power over women, hint there are all men in the government and the government sucks nowadays to be honest.

 @9HM8RCY from Pennsylvania answered…5mos5MO

They influence my views by some of them being nice and witty about the topic while being respectful to everyone but a lot that I see talk about the subject just sound nasty and upright mean and disengenouous.

 @9K8RTV6 from Georgia commented…3mos3MO

Women are both highly valued and uplifted by other women in some areas of the media and bashed in other forums. If we could be viewed as valuable as men by those who continue to see the bad sides of the minority of women, then we could be seen as equals to men both social and economically (in the workforce).

 @ISIDEWITHasked…5mos5MO

What would you be willing to give up to ensure a fairer distribution of resources among all people?

 @9HLMPBC from Pennsylvania answered…5mos5MO

No one should have to give up anything we should just provide more resources to even out distributions.

 @9HLMPGF from Florida answered…5mos5MO

 @9HLMNCPanswered…5mos5MO

Yes. A fair share should be given to the less fortunate than the 1% hoarding the rest.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…5mos5MO

Can there be a place for personal ambition in a society that prioritizes equal distribution of resources?
