If you could vote on the subjects taught in school, what would be your mandatory class and why?

 @9JHSD4Ranswered…4mos4MO

Subjects about some political ideologies and news that is happening around the world without any censorship.

 @9JNZKRL from Illinois agreed…3mos3MO

Children need to be educated on what is actually happening in the world, not from the biased opinions they see on social media.

 @9JHSJTC from Idaho answered…4mos4MO

I would keep a government and economic class mandatory to graduate high school.

 @9JHSJ9RPeace and Freedom from Nevada answered…4mos4MO

History, because they teach kids about history and about what was happing to the word

Do you think people your age would stay more informed on current events if they could vote on them?

 @9JHTVTFPeace and Freedom from Arizona answered…4mos4MO

Only by choice so yes, and they have seen what's going on already on in the world.

 @9JJRWQF from Texas disagreed…4mos4MO

Yes, they should know what is going on however they shouldn't vote until fully mature enough to do so.

 @9JJPX2S from New York agreed…4mos4MO

I agree with this because people tend to voice their opinion more when it is heard and counted towards something.

 @9JHTJXGPeace and Freedom from Missouri answered…4mos4MO

yes for a good amount of us are included in politics I think we would be more connected to vote

 @9JJD3KD from Missouri agreed…4mos4MO

Well I feel like if people my age were able to vote they'd be more invested and wonder about who was going for whatever and they'd want to vote if they had the chance

 @9JHTP74Democrat from Missouri answered…4mos4MO

No, but I do think there should be more information available regarding political polls for those who can vote and are younger or newer to voting.

If your school's dress code was subject to a student vote, how would it reflect personal expression?

 @9KB9Q8GDemocrat from Illinois answered…3mos3MO

The school dress code would be trashed if it was up to student vote. Most students couldn't care less about what others wear, clothing is about personal comfortability and style. Most students would agree that most rules in the dress codes are dumb, especially those regarding women's clothing. Most students would agree that as long as no one's private areas are exposed, or the clothing isn't pornography, no one cares what people wear.

 @9KB95TR from Missouri answered…3mos3MO

I would not want a school dress code people should have the right to wear what they want to wear but with restrictions.

 @9KB9CYR from Massachusetts answered…3mos3MO

I believe that according to where you are and who you are around is how you should dress and that does not mean nothing bad nor is taking your "identity" from you.

 @9KB8FZGRepublican from Pennsylvania answered…3mos3MO

Schools dress code for athletes is way different from actual dress code. Female athletes in school can have really short shorts and tight shirts and that is ok but when a student who isn't a athlete wheres shorts that are not finger tip length or if they wear a "revealing" shirt they will get in trouble. So why do schools do that?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO

How would group projects differ if your class voted on who did what task?

 @9KBF5ZXPeace and Freedom from North Carolina answered…3mos3MO

 @9KBCZM7 from Missouri answered…3mos3MO

I think that an equal dispersion of work would make the project done quicker.

 @9KBCS5X from Nevada answered…3mos3MO

Group projects would differ in that tasks would be assigned based on a collective vote, ensuring equal say for all class members.

Would a student-voted prom theme make the event more inclusive and enjoyable for everyone?

 @9KK7GQ9Democrat from Illinois answered…3mos3MO

Yes it gives people opportunities to share their ideas.

 @9KKK97X from Oregon commented…3mos3MO

everyone should have a chance to share their ideas even in a small situation.

 @9KKBFQT  from Nebraska answered…3mos3MO

A student-voted prom theme would make it better because it is something that they wanted and in the end it would make it way more enjoyable for the students involved then if it was chosen by a teacher.

 @9KQVQMZ from Alabama disagreed…2mos2MO

To attempt to make anything inclusive and enjoyable for everyone is a fools errand, the best anyone can hope for in any circumstance is to make things better for the majority. The result of a vote that is anything other than unanimous is going to upset at least one individual.

Imagine family decisions were made by direct vote—what dynamics do you think this would create?

 @9JS3TQ3 from North Carolina answered…3mos3MO

I think direct democracy is a good thing for any kind of election although I think federal it should be as it is and if it is rigged fix it because well then thats not democracy.

 @9JS3PS9answered…3mos3MO

I think this would create a lot of disagreements and i think families should make desisions based on what is best for their family.

If you and your friends voted on your weekend plans, how would that change your social life?

 @9KBF56W from Tennessee answered…3mos3MO

I think it would help allow citizens to have more of a choice when voting.

 @9KBF2SG from Ohio answered…3mos3MO

We could choose things that we would all agree on and we could improve our day to day lives.

 @9KBDTPZ from Arizona answered…3mos3MO

It would make it better, as the most people would be happy and content, and it really doesn’t matter what we do, as long as we’re together.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…6mos6MO

How do you think people's day-to-day lives would change if they participated in a direct democracy?

 @9H7NW4T from Illinois answered…6mos6MO

I think people would learn to care a little more about politics because it would directly affect them, and it wouldn't seem like just some nonsense that goes on in Washington.

 @9H7PFX6answered…6mos6MO

I think it will make everyone share their opinions and will bring a lot of controversy. More than there already is.
