Do you think it's important to protect local businesses that contribute to national culture, such as bookstores selling local literature?

 @9HGH9TY from Missouri answered…6mos6MO

Yes, because cultures from all over the world should be respected and protected

 @9HGHH5H from Nevada answered…6mos6MO

Of course. I think it is important to protect local businesses that contribute to national culture as, there are some who still believe in that sort of thing. To destroy it I feel would be a violation of the first Amendment.

 @9HGB2QCanswered…6mos6MO

school should have a teacher follow group of students to class to help translate information so they have the same education as English speaking kids.

How do you feel when you see cultural elements from your country featured or misrepresented in popular media?

 @9HTQ855 from Oklahoma answered…5mos5MO

When things are misrepresented, I feel frustrated. However, there are a lot of problems in my country, and I understand that they are important for media to discuss.

 @9HX9X5T from Tennessee agreed…4mos4MO

If I were European, I would be very upset if American media misrepresented my country, maliciously or not. The same standard should be held by all media. America should represent other nations well, and if other nations continue to misrepresent America, our media should call it out.

 @9HTQ34N from Utah answered…5mos5MO

I think that it's not a good thing and it should be represented right.

Should schools focus on teaching the cultural history and traditions of the country they are in, or provide a more global perspective?

 @9HD4NKC from Oklahoma answered…6mos6MO

While I think it is very important to know the true, unfiltered history of the country you reside in, I also think it can be beneficial to learn more about global history. I don't think it should be a one or the other scenario as all beneficial education is important, but if I had to choose I would choose to focus on learning more about the country you currently reside in.

 @9HD4CGG from California answered…6mos6MO

A bit of both, yes learning about american culture is important but so is teaching about other countries traditions.
