How would you feel if someone judged you based solely on your religious beliefs or lack thereof?

 @9H93J42 from Michigan answered…5mos5MO

People should be free to believe whatever they like, it acomplishes nothing to judge others unfairly bases on their beliefs

 @9H7PPF6 from Kansas answered…5mos5MO

I would think it improper of them, that their judgment of me prevents them from seeing common values and value in the person I am, but I believe in freedom of speech.

 @9H8SBXXanswered…5mos5MO

Everyone has a right to believe what they want to believe, but if your views don't align with others then it can be expected for people to express their own opinions.

 @9H8T6GF from Illinois answered…5mos5MO

I wouldn't be offended if they judged me based on that. Everyone has their own opinion even if other people.

How does the principle of 'treating others as you would like to be treated' apply to religious diversity?

 @9KZMRCCDemocrat from New Jersey answered…2mos2MO

Yes, it’s is very true, I always try to be nice and respect others because I would not like someone being mean to me or se someone else being mean to others.

 @9L38G6RPeace and Freedom from Texas agreed…2mos2MO

I believe if you treat me like crap then you should probably try and find out how it feels to be in my shoes and find out how bad its hurting me

 @9KZLBZS from New Jersey answered…2mos2MO

The principle of “treating other as you would like to be treated” apples to religious diversity because it is political ideology that advocates for the equal treatment of all individuals.

 @9L2WDKBDemocratfrom Guam disagreed…2mos2MO

Religions advocate for peace, compassion and equal treatment of all people. Politics does the opposite. It tries to polarise and divide people.

 @9KZM26YSocialist from New York answered…2mos2MO

It applies because you should treat other people of different religion with respect either way

 @9L5HNC5 from North Carolina agreed…1mo1MO

I think if you believe in something and not something someone else believes in you should let them do them.

 @9KZP75RIndependent from Kentucky answered…2mos2MO

People should be treated better than you would like to be treated, you don’t have to agree with a religion but you don’t have to attack it

 @ISIDEWITHasked…2mos2MO

It means that I can practice whatever religion I want as long as its not harmful to society and its important because that means I wont get killed over my beliefs

Religious freedom is the ability to freely practice any religion without being reprimanded unless it being harmful to others.

 @9H4S8X7Independent from Minnesota answered…6mos6MO

Religous freedom is the right for all citizens to participate in a religion they choose with out being persecuted for it. I think it is an essential part of American rights.

 @9H4SWCZanswered…6mos6MO

It is important because America was founded on the idea of religious freedom and it should be granted to everyone. However, it must not encourage violence or the destruction of another religion.

I would try my best to correct the people talking if I had the proper information however if I was not properly informed, I would try to inform myself on the correct information before politely correcting the person.

 @9KZNWGGLibertarian from Georgia answered…2mos2MO

What role do you think schools should play in combating anti-religious discrimination?

 @9H4MRQ4Democrat  from North Carolina answered…6mos6MO

I think schools should not have religion in them (catholic schools, etc) but they should teach about Religion.

 @9H4MXL7from Virgin Islands answered…6mos6MO

Schools should teach that everyone has the individual freedom to choose or not to choose a religion to believe in and encourage open discussions so they learn to listen and ask questions to better understand their peers and respect them.

 @9H4MVTGanswered…6mos6MO

I think to combat anti-religious discrimination, schools should have thorough lessons regarding a certain religion so students will have a better understand of that religion and are less prone to mindlessly mocking others who practice it.

 @9H4MTCJRepublican from Virginia answered…6mos6MO

There should be no hate on the religions of anyone. They have their right to practice any religion.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO
