How does supporting local businesses contribute to the essence of communitarianism in your area?
@9KCKLQSLibertarian3mos3MO
Supporting local businesses contributes to the connection between the business and its customers and allows more money to come since the individual's social identity and personality are molded by the relationships of its customers. Local businesses also focuses on the community's needs and goal's instead of just one.

It feels good to know that others around me are happy and healthy. I would feel good in a community like that.
@9LBTZJQ1mo1MO
If happiness and health are bad for the community then it will affect how we feel.

Describe a time when you felt connected to a broader community because of a shared experience or challenge.
@9LDT7L71mo1MO
when my town/community holds fun events everyone goes and catches up and bonds with familiar and new people
@9LF7VYX1mo1MO
When people do things together, they experience things together making it a shared experience for all. You get to share memories with a new person and even meet new people. Then you can give commentary and they could or could not relate to you from that.
I felt much more connected with the community down in Lake of the Ozarks back then because of how friendly the people are there, it really makes you feel like you're a part of something bigger when you can actually get to know all your neighbors unlike here in KC.
@9LDSG4B1mo1MO

How has a sense of belonging to a community influenced the choices you make in daily life?
@9JJ93YR4mos4MO
It mainly makes me more Republican because so many people here are. I live in a suburb in Missouri so unless your in the city there aren't many Democrats here.
@9JJ59TW 4mos4MO
When you feel connected, you care for these people and their beliefs and care further; don't want to hurt them or impact them.

How does prioritizing community goals over personal ones impact your sense of identity and individuality?
@9H7V25R6mos6MO
Community goals will not always benefit you, someone can contribute sure but whether it is substantial to them is up for debate. Where as personal will ALWAYS have an effect on you in some way shape or form that can and most likely will last.
@9H7W2GG6mos6MO
I think it makes you feel better about yourself and what you are doing individually.
@9H7VP3M6mos6MO
it makes you fell more like a blob of people and not a individual person
It impacts your sense of identity and individuality because if you focus more on the community then yourself how will you find out who you really all and what you want to do with your life.
