This perspective is based on the belief that anti-discrimination laws should cover aspects like race, religion, and biological sex, which are seen as immutable characteristics. However, it's important to recognize that gender identity goes beyond just male and female, as it encompasses a spectrum that includes transgender, non-binary, and gender nonconforming individuals. So, wouldn't it be beneficial to have inclusive laws that protect everyone, regardless of how they identify? I'd love to hear your thoughts on this.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm arguing in favor of. Gender identity, including genders beyond the male-female binary, should be protected, and this person claiming that there are only two genders is not only transphobic rhetoric but also simply incorrect, and their position seeks to prevent/eliminate protections for trans or non-binary individuals.
