While individual choice is certainly valuable, it's important to consider the broader public health implications. In the case of measles for instance, which is highly infectious, widespread vaccination has been instrumental in nearly eradicating the disease. If individuals were left to choose, there could potentially be outbreaks leading to public health crises. Could there be a middle ground that upholds individual choice while also protecting public health?
