I believe we need to consider the long-term consequences. For instance, public parks that are less busy at night might seem like an ideal place. However, over time, this can lead to hygiene issues, damage to the public property and it may discourage others from using these spaces during the day due to safety concerns or discomfort. Also, it's important to remember that public spaces are funded by taxpayers for the enjoyment and use of the entire community.
