Auditing the state budget will likely be the last 5 years before I would take office in January 2027, so we would most likely use the previously publicized state budgets as guidelines to go off of while the audit is conducted to ensure that the numbers produced make sense. We would be using a lot of statistics previously collected in terms of taxation and previous state budgets, but we would be conducting the audit to ensure that these numbers are accurate. To ensure that the audit doesn't break the bank, we will most likely not increase funding, and if funding is increased the increase would not affect the budget or tax rates drastically. Basically, I would ensure there would be minimal impact on the economics of the state & the people if an impact is necessary.
Also, systemic barriers are an exemption from my proposed UBI plan. There are many exceptions to the "3-month rule" which include systemic barriers hiring discrimination, job unavailability, physical & mental disability, old age, and a couple more which will be determined & decided upon in the coming days.
My idea to end the subsidization of other states comes from the fact that many states we subsidize constantly attack our state and what our moral standpoints typically are. In addition, we need to use our budget to fix all of the issues that the Newsom administration will leave behind. There are several issues and crises that the state and it's people have been practically forced to endure on a daily basis, I will not stand for it.
The homelessness crisis will be taken care of humanely and efficiently, same with the housing crisis, and all other crises that the state is going through.
I am extremely angered by the crime crisis in several of our cities, which is why I plan to work with the Mayors of these cities to increase police funding and training. If the Mayors do not comply within 7 days, I will be sending the California National Guard to these cities to take control of the rampant crime that constantly occurs. Drug addicts will be referred to health and rehabilitation institutions that are safe and treat their patients well, they will not be arrested unless they create, sell, or offer the drugs to anyone else. I want to ensure the safety of the people of California and the poor leadership of many Mayors in California sickens me, and especially the lack of action by Governor Newsom is something that truly sickens me.
Hope this answers your question!

Totally agree, why do a majority of our income taxes go to the federal government and not the state or local governments? This has to change,
@TonyForCA 9mos9MO
I will put an end to subsidization for all income taxes in California. It's time that we start to take care of ourselves and the extremely massive and severe crises that have hit our state.

What’s your opinion on SALT?
@TonyForCA 9mos9MO
I'm not too big on the topic of SALT, but from what I have read, I think we can do much better than this.
We should raise taxes for corporations and their partnerships based on the scale of operations and revenue. Let's tax companies like people.
The smaller the company, the lesser the tax. The larger the company, the higher the tax.
I have previously supported raising taxes on the top 1% and large corporations and giving the working class and small businesses relief from the exorbitant tax rates they are forced to pay. I find SALT overly complicated with insufficient positive results… Read more

The corporate tax rate is a joke to me. Corporations always find ways around it. Cutting the corporate tax rate is even encouraged by influential authors on the left.

"After I wrote about the corporate income tax, readers of various political persuasions wrote in to ask why I don’t think we should just get rid of the thing altogether. The answer is pretty simple—it raises around two percent of GDP! It’s the same as the reason why we don’t just get rid of all kinds of taxes that are… Read more
