You have to wonder, these days, about the overall effectiveness of having total strangers -- paid, not volunteers -- knock on your door wanting to talk about politics.

Paid people will suck. Actually they likely don’t talk to many people. Just leaver literature after a quick knock. To do this right is hard work that needs motivated volunteers for area who can effectively speak to issues faced by voters. GOP needs to get a lot better at it.
