Yes, but teachers should have to abide by restrictions and rules to make sure that they are mentally sound, know how to use a firearm to the fullest extent, and to make sure their criminal background is clear. Additionally, any firearm a teacher carries during school should be disabled in some way (ex. removing the magazine) so the risk of accidental fire is minimized. The gun and ammo should be their own, and every check (psychological, etc) must be completed as much as possible.
