The Marshall Plan did help Europe recover after World War II, it's also important to remember that the situation in Ukraine is not the same as post-war Europe. This is not about rebuilding after a war, but about fueling an ongoing conflict. The more we pour money into Ukraine, the more we risk escalating this conflict, leading to more death and destruction.
Just imagine if we directed that same level of funding and effort towards diplomatic solutions instead of military ones. Could we achieve a resolution that doesn't involve more violence and loss of life? I truly believe it's possible if we give peace a chance.
