Having safe sex is different from providing safety to the unborn child. Although people might be more knowledgable in safe sex, that doesn't mean they're knowledgeable about what happens in an abortion and the life that your killing.

 @9FZDSKL from Missouri disagreed…7mos7MO

While it is not the sex workers fault she got pregnant it is not the baby fault either. You are not giving the baby a chance at life and its unconstitutional to take someones life so why should you take a baby's life before it even begins.

If more people understand how sex works and they are able to obtain condoms/birth control, they will be able to prevent unsafe sex. People will have sex no matter if they were taught or if they can obtain birth control, so it's important to make sure they understand how to be safe and provide the resources to do so.

People still chose to be irresponsible by not using anything and a child is the consequence of that action

 @9G2J8GDRepublican from Kansas disagreed…7mos7MO

I don’t think people not knowing how sex works is the leading cause of abortion its the fact they don’t think it will happen ton them

 @9G68XM4  from California disagreed…7mos7MO

I really don't have a counterargument against this because everything that was said is how I view the topic. Everything that had been said was what I also believe and how couples should view the topic as well.

 @9G3MYSSRepublican from Texas disagreed…7mos7MO

I think that if you have sex and end up getting pregnant, you should have to at least have the baby and put it up for adoption. Just because you and your partner made a dumb choice, doesn't mean the baby has to.

Don't do it like Ronald Regan says "People who are for abortion are already born." so why kill off a child when that kid could have a great life.

 @9FZRLND from Michigan disagreed…7mos7MO

Availability of contraception has not reduced abortion, but increased it. I look at the data, even if the argument seems persuasive.

 @9FZHWFJ from California agreed…7mos7MO

Safe abortions and access to birth control are going to stop more abortions than if you ban abortion. Being safe with your body is more important the the government banning it. Abortions will not stop if you make it illegal, they will just become more dangerous.

 @9FZF58C from Utah agreed…7mos7MO

I completely agree. Sex education is key to understand what you may be bringing into the world and how tha will impact your individual life.

 @9FZD4YFCommunist from Pennsylvania agreed…7mos7MO

I agree with this comment, if intellectual and physical resources were given to our youth, unwanted pregnancy would occur far less often.

 @9GB86RW  from Maryland disagreed…6mos6MO

I think that abortion is bad because you would be killing a innocent unborn baby who has not even yet to enter this world.

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas disagreed…6mos6MO

No one has a right to use another person's body to begin with, even a fetus.

 @9FZH5LDRepublicandisagreed…7mos7MO

yes, people need to understand how sex works. but just giving out condoms and birth control is not the answer let them learn by razing the kid and telling there friends to be safe

 @9FZG8NC from California disagreed…7mos7MO

Abortion is murder. Give birth to the child and give it to a couple who want a child but can't have one

 @9G64JHW from New York disagreed…7mos7MO

People should not have sex until they are married. But if we cannot prevent it sax sex is important that it is taught.

 @9FZG4PKdisagreed…7mos7MO

I believe even if they know how to have safe sex they can still be raped and have the right to an abortion.

 @9FZCVWP from Virginia disagreed…7mos7MO

If more people understand the true meaning of sex, not just how it works, then they will be more inclined to practice abstinence. Sex was meant for two married people - that is it. If we are truly a nation under God like we pledge every day in our schools with our rights endowed to us by that same God, then we were not given the right to practice sex with whoever we feel. If more people understood the physical and emotional changes that people go through after sex, then they may be more inclined to practice abstinence. Not only is practicing unprotected sex unsafe, but it is immoral and a violation of the rights given to us by our God.

 @9G5LSTSagreed…7mos7MO

It's going to happen either way, so you might as well let it happen safely so we have less accidents and issues. Also allowing people to understand and learn will take away a lot of the stigma which will help everything overall.

 @9FZLXGJ from Texas agreed…7mos7MO

I believe that people that are more educated about sex and birth control strategies would help reduce the amount of abortions requested. It will not stop it because people are going to do what they want at the end of the day due to free will.

 @9FZCR9T from Illinois agreed…7mos7MO

Yes i agree because i feel like the more knowledged they have the better the choice they will make. Bacause there is a lot of teen preganacies and i feel like its so common because thre so young and have no knowledged.

 @9FZDZCVdisagreed…7mos7MO

Having sex before marriage is a sin and using that kind of stuff like birth control or condams is also a sin in God's eyes so either don't do it or if you do raise the child or put it up for adoption don't kill an innocent life

 @9FZCL2T from California disagreed…7mos7MO

I believe as a Christian that sex is a sin before marriage and I think that it should be with a husband and wife, and if it stayed that way, many less unplanned or unwanted pregnancies would happen.

 @9G4YF8T from Nebraska disagreed…7mos7MO

Although this is true, people still do not listen or learn until they have an experience that changes their mind.
