If a pregnant woman is murdered it is a double homicide, therefore, the murderer has taken two lives

The baby is alive. Killing a baby is murder.

You are missing the role that consent plays in this situation. If the mother wants the baby, then taking it away would violate that consent, whereas if the mother does not want the baby to continue using her body, then she has the right to stop it from doing so, hence why no consent is violated with an abortion.
