I think that ultimately war should be avoided but that should happen and the american people are involved in any way through promises that we made, then we are to keep the promises that we made and try to become less and less involved as possible considering that it is not our issue and we need to keep our nose out of other countries business.

Diplomacy should be prioritized over conflict. The Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962, where negotiation played a huge role in preventing a full-scale nuclear war. It's a clear demonstration that even in intense situations, diplomatic solutions can prove effective.
