having a child or another child would limit their ability to meet current responsibilities and that they cannot afford a child at this point in their lives.

I agree with her statement that we, as a society, should never support killing babies, as they are living, breathing humans. It would be morally wrong to kill them, only thinking of oneself but not the possibilities of the babies' lives. However, I know that 'things happen,' so to speak, and abortion can be a result of rape, incest, teen pregnancy, etc. The only 'thing' that should not be happening are parents irrationally making life-threatening decisions for the sake of not wanting to take on the responsibility of being a parent or even for the sake of conforming to what the majority of people in our society believe.

The position "If it's inside you, and it's growing, it's alive" is actually scientifically and medically incorrect. A fetus does not develop any signs of life until four weeks into the pregnancy. While it may be true that rape/incest comprise of a small amount of pregnancies, they still exist, as well as child pregnancies. Most child pregnancies result in death for both parties, as the fetus's head is crushed upon the beginnings of birth, and a child's hips are not wide enough to safely have a baby. If a supposed mother is not ready to have a baby, whether mentally, physically, emotionally, financially, or for any other reason, they should have the ability to refuse the option.
