I don't believe that children should be punished for their parents' crimes; a life is a life no matter how it started.

They don't have a consciousness before they are born. The life of the parent is the most important thing. I'd rather they abort an embryo they are unable or unwilling to care for into adulthood, than a child be born and suffer for it.

If the women got raped it would traumatize her and if she didn't get an abortion she would know that she has a kid out there in the world unless she decides to keep it. My full opinion on this is, I don't believe in abortions, but if the women has a perfectly good reason to get one, she should be allowed to. It's her choice, not the governments or anyone else.

It should be a woman's choice because it is her body. Removing cells before they form into a human being for the better of the actual human being carrying the cells isn't punishing the child, because there is no child.

I believe that it is up to the women who are having the children to do what they want with their body because they would be the ones raising. They would be teaching the child life lessons and how to survive in society and most of time, they are not supported by their family or the courts are not in their favor if a trauma has happened to them. If someone wants to bring a child into this life, people will not stop them but shame them fr bringing a child into the world. If someone does not want to bring a child into this world, people would force them to think of what could've been and what they are doing to their child. No one should have a say in what a woman should do with her body when it comes to birth because she will be risking her life and pushing that child out of her.

Then who would adopt these children if they were unwanted by either parent? Plus, not every mother or pregnant person could afford a sudden pregnancy like this, especially if the child was conceived into early adulthood of either parent. Also, this crime, depending on what this stance is implying, are most of the time not the mother's fault.

If the child is still in the womb it is not its own life yet, it is not fair to have this standard and then disregard the mothers life in exchange for the fetus., This statement is a product of bias not reason, and not ethics.

But for someone who is raped or had unwanted sex, they should be able to not have to take care of a baby that comes from a situation that was extremely dark for them.

In the first few weeks of conception the fetus is not viable form of life. it is not human, just cells.

There are many situations where abortion is a necessary procedure. If abortion is banned, this puts the lives of several mothers at risk for situations such as ectopic pregnancy, incest, and severe birth defects where the child has no quality of life.

If a thirteen year old is impregnated with a child that is conceived by rape then she should have to choice on whether she would like to keep it or not. Every time she looks at the infant all the memories of that traumatic event will come flooding back.

Women and other people who can become pregnant should have the right to legally procure an abortion if they so choose. Republicans and Conservatives like to use the argument “if we ban guns criminals will still be able to acquire guns,” well the same applies for abortion. If abortion is illegal it can still be acquired although in an illegal and unsafe fashion, think back alley abortions.

As a women you should be able to decide in the first three month if you want to be pregnant or not. Sometimes it is just the case that children dont know enough about it and then they ruin their life with it.

A fetus is not a child, does not have a conscience, and cannot live on its own. Why are pro-lifers more concerned with an underdeveloped cluster of cells rather than the fully developed adult carrying that fetus? The pregnant woman should have full rights and agency over her body.

taking away the option of abortion is taking a woman's right to choose what she does with her own body. it's not right to take away someone's right to choose over a fetus (not a child, a fetus). it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks, a woman still has the right to choose. personally, I wouldn't get an abortion but I definitely support other woman's decision to get them because it's their bodies, not mine.

In this socioeconomic age, it is very much okay to do what you want as an adult with your body. Bearing children is a grueling and sometimes not feasible thing to carry out. To force someone to bear a child is inhumane.

A fetus has no awareness nor does it have any life experiences to draw upon. It doesn’t deserve an equal amount of agency as a fully developed person.

A life is a life once its born. If its alive before birth then women should be allowed to have life insurance for their child before birth.

I agree, however, you have a certain amount of time to know you are pregnant before the heart is beating. So women should have the choice to get an abortion til a certain time. If the baby is dying and it can hurt the mother carrying it then you should be able to get an abortion no matter how late into your pregnancy you are.

I believe that the parents should be able to choose. A kid shouldn't be able to pay for their parents crimes. For example kids of rape and incest.

Those children will never know because when women have abortions, the babies arent even fully developed yet and do not have a brain or a heart.

The mother or father of the child will not be as inclined to take care and love the child, as it is a constant reminder of the trauma and pain they had to endure.

A life lived through a rape would not be a good life anyways. If we only care about a a baby in the womb, then once they are born, their parents may not want to raise them. This will lead to people having kids they hate, and they may end up hurting them out of hatred, or neglecting them because they never wanted the kid to begin with.

Some people cannot afford to give a child a good life. We will just be adding to the broken Foster Care system

What are the crimes that the parents have committed? Sex? are there exceptions for rape, what about assault, what about sex under the influence?

Parents arent always in the best position to raise a child and if that child were to be born it would get thrown into the very broken adoptive system in the U.S.

That is ridiculous. The cells in a woman's body are not a life, neither are they aware of life. These cells are not being punished.

Put the parents raise their children how they were raised so eventually the children will do the same crime because of their parents.
