Israel, U.S. differ over Palestinian Authority’s future role in Gaza,

I think we should shed more light on this topic and become more informed.

This needs to be defused soon or it could devolve into the next world war.

The US should not support a country that has and is currently committing heinous acts against civilians and children.

I think that it is important for us to know what is going on with other countries.

The support for Israel shows how heartbreaking and close minded the country is, as Israel is entirely in the wrong, committing terrible acts against palestine, while the U.S. continues to give more money to them, funding this violence.

Need more information to determine that.

Im not completely knowledgable and am hearing totally different opinions I am unaware which is true.

Both sides have there flaws. Palestinians were pushed out of there home (isreal) into a very small city but the people are also bringing violence to the rest of isreal which isnt good. They want there home back and the people of isreal need a home.

They both are committing war crimes and should be watched for anymore and should be held accountable.

The war going on in Gaza right now may effect us in the future and cause us to go to war and we need to be aware

I think its horrible, Palestine and Israel have made mistakes but there should be no war and the people should be safe and non harmed.

I do not support either side based on the fatalities and attacks, but I do not support Israel's bigger attack on Gaza. Gaza attacked once, so Israel kept attacking

Israel has a right to the land because they were there thousands of years ago and were constantly expelled from their land. Palestine has also made it clear that they want to not only abolish Israel by rejecting many settlement offers but also killing all jews by their recent declaration of jihad against the jews.

I think it is crazy what is going on and it needs to be ended.

I believe U.S. should not interfere in this conflict unless the lives of Americans are heavily affected or threatened of.

I believe there should be an immediate cease fire and a trial against the Israel government for war crimes. Not only have they used white phosphorus in Gaza but they have also repeatedly targeted civilian structures. I believe that race has a large part to play as no one batted an eye when IDF soldiers chased a Palestinian child to the point of heart failure. Nor did I see anyone care when Israel began invading West Bank, which has no hamas in it, and kicking people out of their homes. Also the repeated negligence towards dead children in Palestine by Israeli officials is disgusting. I remember seeing a UN meeting where a person said that regardless if they’re Palestinian or Israeli children are innocent and an Israeli official started screaming that there is no symmetry. Hamas is not isis either as there has been known feuds between hamas and isis. Hamas is a result of the repeated abuse of the Palestinian children by Israel over the past 70 years.

The U.S has to be careful not to overstep their place

US should not be involved with that conflict, as NATO has no business with the countries outside of their allegiance.

Both groups made mistakes, we should focus on helping innocent people stuck in teh crossfire, and try to negotiate a peaceful result.

Both sides aren't innocent but everyone didn't make it a big deal when Palestine was attacked but only when Isareal is.

Stop the war, and move Hamas to another location.

Both sides of this have doe their own wrongs and rights throughout the entire history through the conflict. This is a very in depth and interwoven issue, and neither are fully in the 'right' or 'wrong'.

Israel should receive some funding but they should only direct it to defeat Hamas and not the Palestinians.

While Gaza is not fully "innocent," Israel is more wrongful for their violent actions towards Palestinians

It’s not surprising this has been happening for years but it’s getting worse.

We should make it known we support their decisions to hopefully deter others but we shouldn't commit troops and major funding to a foreign country.

I wish we were able to just stop all war.

I think that the news should not hide what is going on and tell us the truth on things.

It is important to consider that this is not just a human rights issue but a political one. It is impossible for countries to always take the moral stance in the face of foreign policy and what will benefit each country.

United States and Israel will never come to an agreement on this topic.

I believe neither side is totally innocent, but the Palestinian terrorists need to be taken care of so that the Palestinian citizens can be at peace. Wars have casualties.
