It is not just YOUR body. It is the body of an innocent child, who would have a full life ahead of them if you didn't kill it. If you take the risk and end up pregnant, that is on you.

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas disagreed…6mos6MO

No one who is using your body against your consent is "innocent" and you have every right to stop them from doing so, even if that means they die.

 @9GTBKMDdisagreed…6mos6MO

The reason we should get a say in this because you are killing a human that is alive in you that was made by God. You don't have to take care just don't kill it

 @9GTGZB7Republican from California disagreed…6mos6MO

Literally killing unborn children, no one should be robbed of the chance of life. The chances of life existing to each and every individual are extremely slim, and when that chance is taken away before it can even exist then we are essentially doing away with God's greatest creation. The US has programs in place for children whos parents are unable to take care of them, as well as excellent healthcare for individuals who are concerned for their health during pregnancy.

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas disagreed…6mos6MO

None of that changes the fact that no one has the right to use your body against your consent, including for pregnancy. If someone doesn't want a fetus to be using their body against their consent, then they have every right to stop it from continuing to do so, even if that means it dies. Your consent over who can or cannot use your body takes priority over other people's right to life, even a baby's.

 @9GT5GNY from Mississippi disagreed…6mos6MO

It is not just you. When you are pregnant, you are not the only person involved: you have another individual human being inside of you, with their own right to life.
Just because the child is attached inside of you does not mean it is not a separate person/organism. Conjoined twins are not one single individual, despite being attached, they are individual from each other. If one does harm to another it is still wrong, even if attached. If I swallow an animal or perhaps a person whole, they are not suddenly a part of me just because they are inside of me. Even if I attached them in such away that we shared a blood supply, they still would not be part of me, and to kill them would still be morally wrong.
To abort a child is to directly deprive them of their right to life, in other words, murder.

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas disagreed…6mos6MO

You are forgetting about the right to consent. No one has the right to use your body without your consent, for any reason, including a fetus using you for pregnancy. You alone have the right to decide who can or cannot use your body, and if someone else violates that consent, then you have every right to stop them from doing so, even if that means they die. Because, again: they cannot use your body without your consent, and doing so is a violation of your bodily autonomy, hence why abortion is justified.

 @9GT8C67 from New York disagreed…6mos6MO

well abortion is for lazy people and abortion is also a sin if you do not want the kid put the kid in the adoption center abortion is murder killing an innocent child before it was even born and have the father use a condom

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas disagreed…6mos6MO

Abortion is a good thing, actually. It allows people to utilize their right to consent over the use of their bodies.

 @9GV9NNT from Louisiana disagreed…6mos6MO

Some might say this claim, saying this is their body, and though they are right, that consists of them killing a life inside of them, that is murder.

 @9GTSYWV from Connecticut disagreed…6mos6MO

People should be more sexually responsible rather than selfish. Sex has consequences, therefore individuals should be more responsible.

 @9GVN594Republican from Texas disagreed…6mos6MO

It may be your body but it’s a human life. Just because it’s inside you doesn’t take away the fact that it has a body too just because you don’t want the “burden” of it.

 @9GTFYTM from Arizona disagreed…6mos6MO

You are sharing your body with a child and the child inside of you has rights to and a right to life

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas disagreed…6mos6MO

It's not "sharing" if you don't consent to it being there, hence why abortion is justified, because the fetus does not have the right to use your body against your consent to begin with.

 @9GTBHSM from Texas disagreed…6mos6MO

Because your body is holding another life you can't just choose to get rid of it, it should be a form of murder.

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas disagreed…6mos6MO

It's using your body without your consent, you absolutely have the right to terminate it.

 @9GT6RH3Republican from California disagreed…6mos6MO

Pro life. If you ever even think of killing a possible human being you should be considered a murderer. People that say "its a clump of cells" or "a fetus" wait 9 months and what is it? a Human child that will never get a chance to step foot into this world.

  @VulcanMan6  from Kansas disagreed…6mos6MO

If someone is assaulting you, and you shoot and kill them, should you be imprisoned for murder? Or, do you understand that killing is actually permissible under certain conditions..?

 @9GV4YD5 from Missouri agreed…6mos6MO

I don't necessarily agree with the idea of abortion, however, I strongly believe that it should be available to women who need it. The government should never have a say in whether or not a woman needs one or doesn't. For this reason, I would say I am pro-choice, with some exceptions.

 @9GV2K5M from North Carolina agreed…6mos6MO

I don't agree, abortion is murder and should be stopped. As far as incest and rape cases, they should still have the baby and be able to give it away.

 @9GTMDD7 from Ohio agreed…6mos6MO

Strongly agree, the government shouldn't have control over women's bodies. If you are against abortion just don't get one, don't decide for other people and instead give them the right to choose what is best for them.

 @9GTB2P6 from Kansas agreed…6mos6MO

I agree; people should have the right to decide whether to have an abortion or not. Making abortion legal does not mean everyone needs to have one, it just gives that option to those who want or need one.

 @9GT8TS5Democrat from Texas agreed…6mos6MO

I agree. giving birth to a child destroys a woman's body, let alone her mental health and financial situation. A woman should not be forced into that if she doesn't want, especially if it is a situation of rape, medical complications, or unavailable birth control.

 @9GTSVKD from New York disagreed…6mos6MO

It is a separate living person with their own DNA. We can not stop that life unless there is some circumstance where the mother's life is threatened as well.

 @9GT7WPS from Texas disagreed…6mos6MO

If getting an abortion was against the law, then as a law-abiding citizen the people should obey and not get an abortion as it would be a crime. It is true that we are human and have our own birth given rights as said in the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. However, as citizens of the United States it is our duty to not go against laws as there will be consequences.
