But now, Race is a protective status, we have millions of people of all different races who own businesses, we even had a black president for 8 years as well as currently having a black VP. It’s not about your race. It’s about the choices you make. It’s sad to see some people thinking they’re automatic victims of systemic racism just because they aren’t white. They don’t even have to experience discrimination they just think because their not white, they are victims. Regardless, if your skin color you can achieve your goals if you try, doesn’t mean you will but if you just sit there and think of yourself as a Victim, you’ll never achieve your goals. just like how if a baseball player gets into the field there’s a chance he could get three strikes and have to sit out on the bleachers, but then again, there’s also a chance he could get out of the park and make all four bases. One thing is for sure if he doesn’t get up to swing, he will never win it for his team or achieve his goal. Let today be the day you outgrow your victim mentality, and start embracing individualism.

Systemic racism still exists; you can't just think yourself out of an inherent structural disparity...
