Yes. Kill off the strongest and most successful members of a society, and redistribute their resources to the lowliest and laziest members of the rabble, and to party members. That's how communism in practice has always worked

I do not know if complete equality can exist in a society; that is beyond the scope of myself, who has only known capitalism. Do I think that there will always be those who hunger for more money or power that would disrupt the system because it's true or because it is true under capitalism?
