They are both important, but governmental and corporate-level changes make a more significant impact on the climate because of how many people it affects and potentially restricts from doing harmful things to the environment.

I think both have an effect on the environment, however large companies are the biggest offenders.

I feel like the environment is impacted by both people and the government more so the government and individual corporations then people

It is equally important for individuals, corporate/businesses, and government to maintain the environment, whether that be from individual actions, or regulations.

Individuals need to be more aware of their enviorment but another way to do this is the government taking action

Individual could make an impact, but definitely not a significant one. Corporations create a lot of carbon emission, even more than any of us. They should be held accountable.

I believe that individual actions and government actions go hand in hand. Individual actions are based on what the government does and government actions are based on what individuals do.

Corporations produce a lot more waste than any individiual, most of the climate and environmental issues are directly caused by these corporations. Even if all civilians were to zero out their emissions, the impact that it would have on the environment would be minimal due to the grand majority of pollution in the world being from companies, especially oil companies.

While individuals should be mindful of their output, it is nowhere near the same amount that large companies produce. The problem lies at the corporate level, not with us.

I do believe that single actions that are all combined with each other do indeed have a vast effect on the climate, and corporations and the government should also change their ways to reduce these things.

I believe either of those. Every action that an individual takes is a step closer to destroying the environment, but more important changes should also be made at a governmental level.

It is more of a change at governmental or corporate because those are the bigger whales of the rise of pollution in comparison to a person.

I mean yes. If you dump your kitchen grease into the creek behind your house that's not going to be great for the ecosystem. I think that we should be environmentally conscience and do things for the good of everyone but I don't think that the government can regulate that on a government or corporate level.

Way more important at a government and corporate level, very little happens one the individual level. Its similar to voting, one vote doesn't make a big difference, but a large amount does.

Yes I believe governments, corporations and individuals have impact, the honest and true reality is that the environment isn't going to significantly improve by these groups its going to improve by these groups funding the true engineers and innovators of the world that will make and find better solutions that will improve the environment.

I think individual actions can help slightly in that specific area, but not nearly enough to show positive change. Mass change made by associations and groups will by far help way more.

Both are important, but at the moment changes need to be made at government or corporate levels because they will make the fastest impact, after the climate crisis has calmed down people can begin to focus more on individual actions.

I think that if we do recycle and use those recyclables it could greatly impact the environment in a positive way. But everyone must take a stand and work together to accomplish this. We do not need all these laws and rules about emissions and electric cars and wind power and stuff. Most of the stuff our government is doing to "protect our environment" is doing more damage than it is helping.

I do believe that individual acts such as recycling or composting food has an impact on the environment as does throwing trash on the ground and not recycling. But it is also important for the government and corporate levels of government to also be making changes to less impact the environment as well.

Individual actions, while important, are not as impactful as the big corporate companies' output. While they should be pressured to change, I do not believe the government should be involved with it.

It is way more important for change to happen on corporate levels and government levels. What the individual does will have an impact, but not a significant one. What really matters is corporations and governments seeking environmental solutions to problems.

Corporate level changes and changes in the practices of the population as a whole, would create a significant impact. Also promoting environmentalism in developing countries would also be beneficial.

While individuals should take steps to decrease their impact of the environment it should also be the responsibility of big corporations and goverment to decrease their footprint as they have the greater impact.

I believe that individuals have an impact on the environment, people who use transportation using cars and gas, it hurts the environment because of the pollution. But there should be some changes at a corporate level for people to take it more seriously.
