What is your emotional response to the idea that a single national culture should be preserved at the expense of diversity?

Diversity should be encouraged and all cultures should be able to be shared. No government or institution should enforce a singular culture, and instead allow them all to prosper. Without diversity, there is no individuality.

Diversity is what makes us great. But no culture, no race and no group of people should be treated better or worse. That includes immigrants and it included whites

it is definitely wrong because our nation has so many different races. There are also so many different cultures and religions that people follow. It would be wrong to force the world to follow one national culture.

All cultures should be preserve and educated on but not on the idea to preserve more diversity but to be cultural educated on peoples cultures every culture holds importance not just one.

I believe that the founding fathers of this country obviously wanted to be founded by God, but in the end we are all people on this Earth living different virtues of life, no matter race or religion or culture, the expense of diversity should have some part in Government, but not fully.

I believe that if a nation wants to continue to have a culture to themselves then they have the right to. But If your people want a change, then make that change. One person shouldn't be making the decisions of a culture.

I think this is a harmful belief and diversity should be allowed to exist because we are all created equal. I find it sad and disappointing that people think this way.

"Culture" has no part in Government. I view "culture" in the same vein and religion. It is person! And should not be part of the government.

I think we should mesh these ideas together. Yes, we are Irish, Spanish, etc. but we are Americans. That level of culture should be shared, besides our own separate cultures.

I believe cultural identity is important, but I also think that a united country is very important. Also, I think clinging to a culture that does not represent the modern way of life could be potentially dangerous, so I am kind of in between that statement.

Asking for an emotional response to this is dumb. People shouldn't be answering critical questions just on the basis of emotion alone. Instead people should use facts as well as emotion together, this allows for better view points.
