Hamas unleashed a terrorist attack because they fear nothing more than Israelis and Palestinians living side by side in peace.
To continue down the path of terror, violence, killing, and war is to give Hamas what they seek.
We can’t do that.
@NominationZach6mos6MO
many people here don't seem to understand that a ceasefire necessarily means both sides of the conflict stop fighting
there was no ceasefire on or before October 6th, just the same Israeli occupation project that had been in the works for the last 75 years
@FabulousWelfare6mos6MO
There was actually a ceasefire and it was broken by Hamas! Pressure or, Israel isn’t going to agree to a ceasefire especially not with Netanyahu as PM!
@NominationZach6mos6MO
what are you talking about?
@FabulousWelfare6mos6MO
There was literally a ceasefire agreement in May of this year. A Jihadist went on a hunger strike and died in Israeli prison, and Hamas launched literally 102 rockets into Israeli in “retaliation”. Ceasefire was agreed on in May.
Jihadists are opportunists. They don’t care.
@EcstaticR3volution6mos6MO
One of the most expertly ambiguous political statements in recent memory. Is he calling for Israel to support a true ceasefire? Is he telling Palestinians to stop supporting Hamas? It's a Rorschach test. But it's still a pivot from his earlier statements.
@Pl4tformCaribou6mos6MO
Yeah all this but he keeps giving tons of money and weapons to Israel. Don't believe one word of this fake conciliatory bs the Democrats are trying to pull now because their numbers suck.
@FreeTradeToucan6mos6MO
So if continuing down the path of war is bad, perhaps we should push for some kind of “opposite” of “war”, like a cessation of conflict of some kind
