A Florida high school principal and three other officials have been reassigned after letting a trans girl play on a girls' volleyball team - despite it being against state law.
Principal James Cecil, assistant principal Kenneth May, athletic director Dione Hester and volleyball coach Jessica Norton were all shuffled away from teaching roles.
Bosses at Monarch High School in Pompano Beach had raised 'allegations of improper student participation in sports.'
It comes after Ron DeSantis signed a bill barring transgender females from playing on public school teams intended for student athletes born as girls in 2021.

I'm a progressive. But come on, there is basic common sense. I support the trans community, but I'm also for a fair competition for girls. Either play with guys or in a league for trans. No one should be fired, just try to find an alternative for the trans student.

Males need to play against males, and females against females. This is a male born student who was taken out of the female team. It isn't that hard to understand. What's insane is why anyone wants to have males invading female spaces.

The child may be born a male but identifies as a trans girl. It’s not that hard. The trans child is not causing any harm to biological female students which those students clearly voice on their instagram stories… something you are clearly not aware of.

No, there is no hate in protecting girls and women. Female students should feel safe and comfortable in their spaces, without having the presence of a male. They shouldn't have to compete against someone who has an advantage.

Follow State Laws
When Laws are just – and let's face it, they rarely are – they should be respected and obeyed. This is a just law that protects women's sports and ought to be respected as one. This shouldn't be a partisan issue.

I'm glad these jokers, masquerading as nonpartisans dedicated to education, were expelled for this abominable crime. I hope no one ever hires them again. We must protect each sex by insuring that males compete only against males and females only against females. That's how it's been done for years now, and it's stupid to stop because a bunch of deranged flamers believe they can be any gender they want.
