How might your community benefit if local businesses had more power than multinational corporations?

It might lead to less money hungry businesses as well as smaller businesses getting more love and appreciation (and money) for making better quality things than mass-produce companies

I feel like no matter where I am in the world I find myself at the same large business. Like Target, Walmart, etc. I feel like people in our community deserve a fighting chance to survive in the market.

I feel like my community could benefit from it because small business owners would thrive and create quality products and culture in my community.
