If a man needs emergency medical procedure to save his life or future fertility would we even be having a debate? We are asking the wrong questions.

We are going backwards in time, we are not doing better, we are back-tracking.

The prolife movement has gone from compassion for the child to cruelty to the mother (and child).

Trisomy 18 is not a condition that is compatible with life.

 @9HL64B7 from North Carolina commented…5mos5MO

I think if it is considered an emergency, then there should be a quick response to the situation.

 @9HL4L4M from New York commented…5mos5MO

Woman should have the choice to abort a embryo or birth a baby. No man or government should make a law or influence a woman to make that choice

No government should be allowed to deny access to health care options, especially in a life threatening emergency. Abortion is not only a human right, but also a viable option for women who either can't take care of the child, or would die doing so.

 @MercifulWhitingDemocratfrom Delaware commented…5mos5MO

Republicans who gin up fake legal cases against gay rights, accuse a Democratic woman of daring to try to save her life in her home state.

As always, every despicable Republican accusation is a confession.

 @9HL5SKT from North Carolina commented…5mos5MO

a court denying a woman her life, is awful, it is not your uterus, don't tell women what to do with it.

 @9HL4MW8 from Pennsylvania commented…5mos5MO

every woman should have the right to get an abortion if they need one. It also helps out with overpopulation.

Why would The court refuse a woman an EMERGENCY abortion, when it could cost her life?

 @9HL5VK2 from Kansas commented…5mos5MO

I think that i agree with the texas supreme court abortion is illegal no matter what just like murdering someone its always illegal

 @V0lunteerStellaGreen from Washington commented…5mos5MO

We all should be voting for every woman like Kate Cox who could not get safe healthcare in their state. Our vote matters, our voice for our body matters

The government should not be allowed to deny access to health care options.

 @9HKZZWY  from Florida commented…5mos5MO

Good on Texas for that one, I care little for those careless enough to "need" an abortion by their mistake.

 @EnragedM1norityLibertarian from California commented…5mos5MO

Life, liberty and pursuit of happiness was not meant to be different based on state boundaries. Otherwise we just 50 countries.

This is what happens to countless movements on the left — police reform, eg: under fire, a rational position gets pushed to the extremes and becomes a political fetish of clout-seeking purist activists. Real world harms follow.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…5mos5MO

Imagine if your rights to make a critical medical decision were overridden by the courts; how would you react?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…5mos5MO

Is it ethical for a court to prioritize state law over the immediate health concerns of an individual?

 @9HLDMX3 from Texas commented…5mos5MO

I think that women should be granted the option of abortion no matter at what stage or age.

 @9HLJ9HV from Texas commented…5mos5MO

I think it put’s women in danger. It threatens the mothers lift and child's life. Not all cases of abortions are equal and it shouldn’t be treated as such.

 @MajesticSeahorseSocialist from Illinois commented…5mos5MO

Women have been treated as nothing more than “baby makers” since the beginning of time. And it’d better be a boy!

 @DoveAmeliaGreenfrom Kentucky commented…5mos5MO

Much respect to Kate Cox for both pushing the issue, and then for getting the hell out of dodge to receive the appropriate care for her situation.
