It would be wrong of the court to conclude that invoking Section 3 of the 14th Amendment is wrong because it’s anti-democratic. Section 3 was designed to be anti-democratic, or at least, democracy-limiting. It was designed to save us from ourselves. The idea behind the section is that if the other safeguards have failed, and someone who engaged in an insurrection, or helped those who did, wants to serve in federal office, then we should declare that person ineligible for office; that is, take that choice away from voters.

Colorado mess just reeks of Dem dark money.
The playbook:
1. Dem Court throws Trump off the ballot
2. Dems celebrate but it’s clearly unconstitutional
3. SCOTUS overturns it
4. Dems say SCOTUS is illegitimate
5. Dems hold hearings to further undermine the rule of law

Dem court ruled on suit brought by Dem 501c3 money group overseen by David Brock

You're forgetting that the actual argument comes from Judge Luttig -- who defended Trump against impeachment! -- and two Federalist Society conservatives. Address their arguments.

Trump can't be on the ballot because he attempted insurrection, says Colorado's Supreme Court. But he didn't. Jan 6 was a riot, not an insurrection. Behind the Democrats' turn against democracy is years of planning, including a secret effort to undermine the 2020 election.

Marc Elias openly talked about it in the aftermath of J6. He said this would happen years ago. They used the term insurrection immediately frequently and consistently.

Trump should not be able to run for elections again.
@9HQLFHN5mos5MO
Trump should be on the ballot democrats are knowing he will blow the democrats out of the water and are scared he will get into office

Presumed innocent until proven guilty. There has been no trial or verdict to prove that he has done any of the crimes that he is accused of. The opposition’s motives are crystal clear to anyone that looks with a discerning interest to know the truth!

This is a chance for the Supreme Court to uphold the Constitution, period. Additionally, it will help squash the *** for-tat politically biased judicial legislation, ultimately preventing (or at least delaying) the collapse of the U.S.
