Taiwan and Ukraine are entirely different. If China takes Taiwan, it has a direct path to Hawaii. Japan and Australia have mediocre navies so the best option is to continue arming up Taiwan and preparing for the worst.

He was correct to withdraw from a war that has accomplished nothing and cost a trillion dollars. If you disagree with that move then apparently you have abandoned what used to be a policy dear to democrats – peace with the world. And that's frankly just sad to see.

Trump was in fact withdrawing from Afghanistan gradually, Biden just completed what he started. But Trump was careful to make sure he left no US citizen left behind, Biden was so frantic to leave he left 200 Americans behind, at the mercy of the Taliban and other terrorist paramilitary groups. From the start of his presidency, American blood has been dripping from his hands
