What do you imagine are the biggest misconceptions city dwellers have about rural life?

As someone who lives in a city but travels 2 hours out of town to their parents farm, “city dwellers” thinks that they dress in boots and camo and have horses… I’ve seen so many kids who live smack dab in the city start wearing boots and “country” stereotyped clothing while not having any real use for their boots. Boots, jeans, worn to not wreck nicer clothes like your tennis shoes or nice sweatpants. I’ve never worn my boots to school as there’s no reason. I have nothing to prove to anyone and there no mud nor manure. Also they imagine it’s fun. I don’t have fun out there much, I work. It’s not to mess around, it’s a job, it’s to make a living.
