In a community that fully embraces equal rights and shared values, I would expect a large amount of pushback not only when it comes to the reformation of the systems of power that have entrenched racism within the fabric of our society as well as our government, but also the systemic prejudices in general that have taken root in all sorts of people and places in our society.
