I'm an empath. What that means is, I don't pick up on social cues so much as moods. I feel those, its like a strong feeling, and its sometimes hard to tell when those moods are my own or someone else's. But what I'm saying is, empathy can improve social justice by helping us understand one another in a deeper, more meaningful way.

Empathy is crucial because by "othering" people it makes it hard to understand problems that may not be impacting yourself
