US president Joe Biden has said he is pressing Israel to “significantly get out” of Gaza, after being interrupted by protesters calling for a ceasefire in the Middle East during a campaign stop in South Carolina.
“I understand their passion”, Biden said of the protesters, shortly after beginning his remarks. “I’ve been quietly working with the Israeli government to get them to reduce and significantly get out of Gaza”, he added.
The protesters’ calls for a ceasefire lasted for a few seconds before they were crowded out by chants from the rest of the audience calling for Biden to win “four more years” in office in the 2024 election.

Where do the American people get the audacity to think that America has the wherewithal to tell Israel how to fight their own war?
Biden wont dare condemn these pro hamas lovers because they vote Democrat..that is why Biden says NOTHING when it comes to anti semitism, its fine and dandy since the ones involved vote Dem
@VibrantSealRepublican4mos4MO
I’d rather Hamas get out of Gaza and support Israel in expelling Hamas from existence.
@RebelScum76Constitution4mos4MO
And I'd rather get the h–ll out of the Middle East before we're launched into WWIII.
@KittenPatDemocrat4mos4MO
Please. Biden has backed Israel 100% without him the war wouldn't have lasted a week. This is boilerplate language. No president has been more pro Israel when it mattered except Nixon. Definitely not in last 50 years or so
@9HY4K424mos4MO
I believe that Biden is correct with this statement as Israel is committing mass genocide
@9HY34YY4mos4MO
I’m interested to see exactly what he means by this and how it plays out.
so that they can carry things out in peace and be good to each other

From seeing countless lives being taken away for territorial problems it seems to be if the United States has an opportunity to do something about it.
@9HXKHMW4mos4MO
I think that first news shows Bidens beliefs and opinion on whats going on in Israel and Gaza
Too many innocent people have been killed.
@ISIDEWITH4mos4MO
Do you believe it's justifiable for a foreign leader to demand changes in how a nation manages conflict territories?
@9CJ6CB64mos4MO
It depends what that foreign leader has power over. The US holds significant sway over Israel, and if they want the aid money, they need to follow some conditions.
@VersatileElephantRepublican4mos4MO
Why should there be a ceasefire before Hamas ceases hostilities and surrenders? Israel has stopped short of totally destroying their enemies before, and where has it gotten them?
@ChicMinorityWhipDemocrat4mos4MO
A ceasefire is a military victory for Hamas. It rewards their strategy of embedding military infrastructure within civilian buildings. Civilian deaths in Gaza are the design, desire and fault of Hamas
@9CJ6CB64mos4MO
Bolster their defenses on land they already have, show Hamas a sign they’re not to be trifled with, but try and work out ways to make them avoid civilian buildings.
