Fears of an all-out regional war in the Middle East are growing as Houthi rebels say the US and UK will pay a “heavy price” for striking more than a dozen targets in Ye
In a recorded address, Houthi military spokesman Brig. Gen. Yahya Saree said 73 strikes hit five regions of Yemen under their control on Thursday — killing at least five people and wounding six others.
“The American and British enemy bears full responsibility for its criminal aggression against our Yemeni people, and it will not go unanswered and unpunished,” he said.
Senior Houthi official Hussein al-Ezzi also said in a Google-translated post on X: “America and Britain will undoubtedly have to prepare to pay a heavy price and bear all the dire consequences of this blatant aggression,”
Separately, Mohammed Abdul-Salam, the chief negotiator and spokesperson for the Iran-funded group, described the US and Britain as having “committed foolishness with this treacherous aggression.”
The joint US-UK strikes on Yemen Thursday were intended as a “direct response” to these maritime attacks, President Biden said in a statement.
“These attacks have endangered U.S. personnel, civilian mariners, and our partners, jeopardized trade, and threatened freedom of navigation,” he said.

When are we going to acknowledge that we are at war with Iran...and have been since 1979. The Houthis are Iran. Hamas is Iran. Hezbollah is Iran. Islamic Jihad is Iran.
Iran is head of the snake. But Biden/Obama empowered Iran and lifted sanctions and gave them pallets of cash.

- Syria
- Libya
- Somalia
- Pakistan
- Afghanistan
- Palestine
- Yemen
But Muslims are the terrorists?

Here's the true foreign police, as George Washington, one of the greatest men who ever lived, put it – "peace, commerce, and honest friendship with all nations, entangling alliances with none." I am a conservative to the core, but I believe in peace and international neutrality just as I believe in free markets and individual liberty. The two are not opposites, as fashionable opinion alleges, but perfectly compatible. I'd like to see the GOP kick out the neocons and return to true republican principles.

Actually, the ship they supposedly launched a "piratical attack" on, the USS. "St. Nicholas" had millions in stolen Iranian oil aboard – they merely taking back the oil we stole from them. If you blame them for launching strikes on Middle Eastern US bases, consider their perspective. What if, Heaven knows, China, built numerous military bases within our borders? We'd probably put up a fight too. The solution to this is not perpetuating endless Middle Eastern wars that are unconstitutional and have cost us trillions, while at the same time risking WWIII. We give the orders at least we use to prior to this administration. Stay out of the shipping lanes or next time it will be much worse.

Hang on a second, we spent how many millions of dollars last night? Killing 5 and injuring 6 ? WTF
@GallantC4ucusGreen4mos4MO
We don’t seem to have clear plan except to intercept missile, ballistic missile & drone attacks on naval ships and commercial shipping.
By carrying out this attack are we associating ourself w/Hamas killing Gazans and Houthis killing Yemenis?
What’s the plan?
