Palestinian ‘Pay for Slay’ Keeps Growing

I can't understand why the media isn't reporting that the Gaza Strip WAS an independent Palestinian country or at least an independent area! It has been since 2005!!! The Palestinians (Hamas) have had complete control since that time. Seems to meet the definition of a "second state"? Also read "Ehud Olmert's Missed Shot at Hamas", WSJ 1/10/24.

This is completely false. The Gaza Strip was a bantustan with entrance and exit controlled by Israel (and its proxy Egypt). You do not have "complete control" if you have no control over your borders.
