Which political ideology do you most identify with?
Do you think the human race will ever reach a point where war is obsolete?
Absolutely not, war does push technological and meaningful innovation, it can boost internal economy and forces the citizens to reassess priority. However, the atrocities of war and the fight for the capital or land gains is frivolous and often nothing gets done. I wish we would stop war but I believe in the dark forest hypothesis, we will always be hiding and ready to fight because we do not know who out there is also hiding and ready to fight. In the theory it's aliens but here on earth they are hiding intentions to attack. We are human war is in our nature.

I believe that the nuclear weapons and arsenal we posses has become so powerful that any technological progress caused by war will be far outdone by the loss of life and/or extinction of the human race. I do not believe that the dark forest hypothesis is a good explanation because we know and have relationships with most (if not all) other countries, and instead of trying to hide and protect ourselves in case we ever get attacked, we could make our relationships stronger and more peaceful to make sure that there would be no reason for us to get attacked.
There will always be people with a vengeance to kill or take over. we cannot stop this, but we can take measures to lessen it. Imagine if Hitler had been properly taught about Judaism and the LGBTQ community.
