How do you define 'family' and has that definition evolved over time for you?

I define family as a mom and dad who are both present at all times in their children's lives. The definition of family has not once changed for me, and it won't in the future because these were the ideals I've been brought up with. I look and where my life is compared to where someone my age who comes from a household either missing a parent or has 2 moms or 2 dads and I see a significant advantage I have because of that fact. The family structure has been nearly the same for all of human history until about 20 years ago and its worked fine up until we decided to change it.

People who have grown up with 2 moms and 2 dads are not disadvangated and because the idea of family has changed it isn't bad, its more realistic

At that stage those aren’t your parents by definition that’s just a gay couple that owns you. Unless you were a surrogate so that’s only half true and if adultery (ie a third party man) was involved, that’s just disgusting, gamey, abusive, selfish and wrong.
