It has not. The U.S.A needs to correct our various problems prior to getting involved in outer issues, unless it directly affects the wellbeing of our country.

We need to stop fighting in wars that do not matter. After Osama Bin Laden was killed, we stayed in the Middle East for years, losing countless American lives for no reason.
Although the US does need to deal with our own issues, but we have to consider that issues in other countries will eventually make it to is soil.
