The Saudis should do it anyway. What's the US going to do? Start bombing Saudi Arabia? They'd cut the US & it's vassals off the oil teat, & ditch the petro-dollar so fast Wall Street banksters & Fossil Fuel Goons

heads would explode from the loss of quarterly profits alone.

I have zero sympathy here. What they are doing to the Palestinians is genocide. Houthis deciding to fire missiles at merchant ships going to Israel is lunacy, and I have zero qualms about this.

The U.S. has blocked several potential peace deals since 2016. During negotiations in Kuwait. U.S. instigated moving central bank out of Sana’a, stopping salaries, & put severe economic measures on Yemen. The U.S. is holding Yemenis hostages to its demands in support of the Gaza Genocide.

The US blocking a peace deal between Yemen and Saudi Arabia because the Houthis won't let ships through is peak imperial acrobatics. Needless, easily-resolved complications just because the US insists on letting Israel massacre Gazans.

US truly is a cancer on the world. How do people do stuff like this and then sleep at night

Why would a US “license” be needed for two entities to agree on peace?

Unless the agreement would entail exchange of money or goods and designation of Houthis as terrorists would block Saudis from doing business.

In your opinion, is it ever justifiable to hinder peace talks for strategic or political gains, even if it means continuous hardship for innocent people?

 @ISIDEWITHasked…4mos4MO

How would you feel if your government blocked peace negotiations in another country, potentially prolonging a humanitarian crisis?
