Hamas has responded with a proposal for three 45 day ceasefires aimed at ending the war.

The first phase would see the hostage exchange of Israeli women, children, and the sick and elderly for Palestinian women and children. Reconstruction of hospitals and refugee camps would begin.

Phase 2 would be exchanges of the rest of the living hostages. Then phase 3 would exchange remains and iron out an end to the war.

The Arabic version includes more than this!

-the withdrawal of the IOF from all resedential areas into the east & northern border of Gaza

-ending the siege & starting the rebuild with hospitals & bakeries

-providing temp housing (tents/containers)

-Opening the borders to Gaza

Is there any mention of IDF withdrawal? Will they actually get aid in and stop the settlers from blocking trucks? It’s insane that they won’t remove them - clearly they can with how they police in the West Bank.

It's important news and should be highlighted. I don't pay a lot of attention to the news as is currently, so I don't really know if there's something that deserves to be featured over that or if it shouldn't be covered.

I believe that what's happening in Israel is something that could end easily by coercing the people of Palestine into denouncing Hamas by Promising them sorely needed resources.

I think that they should listen to hamas because there are many innocent Palestinians locked up for absolutely no other reason then just being a certain ethnicity

Prisoners should be let out on the condition that they receive at least a year of therapy. Prison should be a place of rehabilitation, not one of incarceration and punishment. This way, people will be able to go back into a society that supports them, regardless of their mistakes in the PAST.

 @9JRJPFH from Washington commented…3mos3MO

if by any chance they're released, they will continue to commit crimes & attack the U.S.

Israle needs to be helped and people need to be convicted for hate crimes.

We need to be a little more involved to ensure those prisoners are safe and brought back to families

I am concerned about what the West would do if Hamas was still in charge in Gaza. Would they keep it blockaded? Would this prevent the emergence of a 2SS? Netanyahu has used Hamas before to prevent a Palestinian state. Would prefer Sinwar gone or exiled personally.

I just think it is the most important I do not a a specific opinion on the matter.

I think that the prisoners should be released and I think there should be more focus on this topic.

 @ISIDEWITHasked…3mos3MO

Is it justifiable to demand the release of prisoners in exchange for peace, even if some may have committed serious crimes?
