Our nation cannot exercise moral, economic, and/or military superiority unless it's own citizens are a priority. It is imperative to allow our society to advance with minimal government intervention. The government exists to protect the nation from foreign and domestic threats, and to ensure civil liberties. After our house is in good clean order, we can cooperate with the globe and be an example of a high functioning strong society.

A country's citizens matter more as in the future they may be able to help other countries later on. Matters that happen abroad have no effect on us, we should be focusing on ourselves.
