Jean Carroll admitted to the media Trump’s behavior toward her was playful, despite the media regularly egging her on & urging her to say Trump raped her
— NY changed the law allowing her to sue after the statute of limitations had expired
— She sues, jury exonerates Trump on rape but says he “defamed” her by pleading his innocence
— $5 million penalty leveled against Trump
— Judge overrules jury, publicly states Trump did rape Carroll
— Because Trump also publicly pleaded his innocence in 2019, Carroll filed a second lawsuit against Trump
— The same judge oversees this case, and demanded an anonymous jury
— Carroll’s lawyers are updating her case(s) whenever Trump re-proclaims his innocence
— Trump again is found to have “defamed” Carroll, and is this time ordered to pay $83 million
— Trump is forced to pay $92 million just to be given the opportunity to appeal the $86 million judgment
— And on and on it goes.
This whole episode is one of the most extreme abuses of the legal system in U.S. history, except perhaps for AG Letitia James’ “fraud” case, or maybe also DA Bragg’s “campaign finance” case. New York is starting to make Haiti look like a model of law and order.
Once again, the only thing worse than Trump is the way progressives are happily turning America into a banana republic just to take him out.

The same people who used to complain about the unfairness of the criminal justice system in the US are apparently happy to use it against their political enemies.
This is not going to end well.
